Since we were established in 2004 we have expanded and now have several different sites across the UK. Our main office is based in Halifax, Yorkshire, and our other locations include Manchester, Sheffield, Huddersfield and Leicester. We have 24 staff across all our sites, nevertheless if you haven’t managed to meet us in person, then take a look at our rogue gallery. We have included someone across every department.
Stephen Murphy
FOUNDER
Has been at the helm of both building and timber frame businesses in the past and currently oversees the operations of a sister company, AQH, which specialises in the development of bespoke student accommodation across the UK.
Martin Joyce
FOUNDER
Founded the company with Stephen and has over 30 years’ experience in property design and development across both the commercial and residential sector. Martin specialises in ensuring the added value is created through good design.
Rachel Withers
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Rachel is a member of the Senior Management Team and is responsible for all the commercial aspects of Student Facility Management including site acquisitions and mobilisation. Alongside this role, Rachel also oversees the marketing, letting and facility management of the current student sites within the portfolio operated by SFM, ensuring that SFM delivers on customer service to both clients and students.
Helena Burns
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Part of the Senior Management Team, Helena leads the financial and legal aspects of Student Facility Management and of each of the managed student developments. Helena ensures and maintains the smooth flow of functionality & accountability with clients, including performance monitoring and financial reporting working on SFM's commitment to be the accommodation provider of choice with strong financial management too.
Amanda Hughes
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Amanda been with the company for 8 years and has over 17 year’s accountancy experience. Amanda oversees the internal Accounts Team and its day-to-day operations together with the monitoring, reporting of budgets and site functionality, ensuring our commitment to the delivery of client reporting.
